The acceleration of changes is one of the aspects that determine contemporaneity and is perceived in the form of consumption, in technology, in innovation everywhere, in the way of behavior and in various socioeconomic dimensions. Aligned with the principles of an unsustainable linear economy, characterized by the increasing extraction of natural resources, transformation, consumption and mass disposal, there is an opportunity to consolidate the set of innovative and sustainable practices and principles which was conventionally called Circular Economy (EC), based on the restoration and regeneration of resources. This theme is of worldwide relevance and, in the specific case of emerging countries such as Brazil, where economic growth is a crucial need, the adoption of circular actions represents a potential entrepreneurial opportunity. In the context of this discussion, this research is included, which aimed to answer the following question: "How to structure a new business based on EC concepts applied to the paint and varnish industry chain in São Paulo?" The objective was to propose solutions based on the EC aiming at mitigating of waste from linear practices in the paint production chain. The research brought conceptual findings which allowed the construction of an innovative framework proposal, integrating the relevant factors that form the limiting force fields and those favorable to circularization, encouraging the entrepreneur to adopt a new systemic approach in the practical context for the structuring of sustainable ventures in EC.
