The “I Amazonian Management Symposium” is an upcoming event that will be held in August, 29th-31th, 2018, in the city of Manaus, state of Amazonas, Brazil. Home to two million people, Manaus is the second largest metropolitan area in northern Brazil (12th in the country) and the region’s largest financial and corporate center. The Amazonas state capital is also the 6th largest GDP of the country.
The conference aims to put together a large number of researchers and attendees from several different countries, representing many renowned institutions from Latin America, the United States, Europe, and Asia to study innovation, sustainability and governance, topics that are of central importance for the region. This will be an opportunity for academicians, practitioners and representatives from non-governmental, private and public organizations to join in the discussion of the main challenges for the region. An event of this magnitude is an important platform that can be used not only to introduce the Amazonian Region to the international scientific community but put it on the map of scientific studies as well, now and in the future.
Therefore, it's with great satisfaction that we invite all professors, researchers, specialists and students to submit your proposals, until May 15th, in the form of Extended Abstracts, on the central and related topics of the event. Submitted proposals will be reviewed by an Scientific Committee, with decisions available up to June 15, 2018.
