Students who joined the FEAUSP Postgraduate Course and who need a support scholarship may request at the Coordination Office. The application will be evaluated and, if approved, the scholarship will be awarded by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) or by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES).
After entering the application, the student must wait for the evaluation of the Scholarship Committee, which is composed of professors from the three programs and representatives of Postgraduate students. If necessary, the student will be invited for clarification by the Committee.
When judging requests, the number of candidates, the number of scholarships available, the information provided, and information of an academic nature available in the USP Postgraduate Studies records will be taken into account, including academic production for those in the course for over one year.
In addition, the candidate must be enrolled in the course and meet the following requirements:
Meet the requirements of funding agencies as stipulated in their manuals and standards (CAPES or CNPq).
Attach documents that prove the need for financial support. These documents include the copy of the personal and family income tax return for the last financial year.
Attach the LATTES curriculum.
Attach the Follow-up Worksheet (only for the management course)
Willingness to dedicate exclusively to the course, being obliged to take at least 3 courses per semester and obtain approval in all of them.
Note: It is not allowed to grant scholarships to students who have an employment contract (signed work card).
Loss of Scholarship
If the student shows unsatisfactory academic performance, including failure to meet 3 courses per semester and/or unsatisfactory performance reported by the respective supervisor in the Scholarship Activity Reports, the Scholarship Committee may at any time replace the scholarship holder. The replacement will also occur if the requirements of the funding agencies are not being met.
